Comments from the Chair

I hope this message finds each of you well and having a great 2013. On behalf of your TACA Board of Directors, I want to thank each of you for your continued support of our great organization.  We have a greater vision and plan for TACA, and with the support of each of you, our goals can be met.

June is fast approaching with the opportunity for court coordinators, assistant court coordinators and administrators to participate in the Professional Development Program sponsored by the Texas Center for the Judiciary, in Austin.  Both of these educational conferences are among the most enjoyable and productive activities in which we all can participate.  We learn not just from the excellent faculty, but also through interacting with each other – communicating with other court professionals around the state.  Communication with others in our positions gives us the opportunity to exchange ideas and problems, to advise and consult, and share our common experiences.

TACA is set for another year of growth and opportunity, and I look forward to sharing it with you.  Your Board has been diligently working in preparation for our 2013 Annual Education Conference to be held in San Antonio, Texas in October.

There are so many possibilities out there to provide each of us with knowledge and growth in the field of court administration. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, your board is here for you!  Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail your questions, concerns, issues and/or feedback to any of the board members.  We are here to serve you.

Hope you have a great spring!
