Comments from the Chair

Randy WalkerHello and Welcome to the official website for the Texas Association for Court Administration (TACA). TACA is a professional association that strives to encourage continuing education and maintain professional standards for Court Administration throughout the State of Texas. TACA helps to assess the individual needs of the Courts and their administrative personnel in order to improve the administration of justice.

An education conference is conducted every fall, which provides a minimum of sixteen hours of continuing education and focuses on developments in the field and new technologies applied to the trial court environment. This annual education conference helps our members to comply with continuing education requirements as instructed under Texas Government Code, Section 74.106. In addition, the TACA Journal is published and distributed to the entire membership in order to keep the members informed of recent developments in the field of court administration, changes in case law that may impact the administrative procedures of trial courts, and programs implemented by local courts.

TACA offers several membership options, and if you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact myself or any of the Board Members who would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the organization. We thank you for taking the time to browse through our website and we appreciate your support.
