Professional Development

The primary purposes for which TACA is organized are to:

Encourage and promote continuing education
Assist in maintaining of professional standards for Court Administration

Aid in identifying individual needs in the Courts to improve the administration of justice

The organization attains these goals, in part, through its facilitation, in conjunction with the Texas Center for the Judiciary, of 2 programs:

Professional Development Program (PDP)

Provides a plan for the professional education and development of persons employed in Texas district courts and county courts at law, as court coordinators, court managers, or court administrators.

Court Management Services Program (CMP)

Mirrors the nationally recognized program developed by ICM and will be offered in Texas exclusively to Texas court personnel.
